One of porn industry’s own has passed away.
I never worked with or even knew Dakota Skye but she was one of us and for that reason I feel a certain amount of grief for her. She was 27 and that’s far too young to die, but unfortunately that’s how life works, none of us know when we’ll die or how. When someone dies the sadness that we feel should serve to remind us to cherish each moment that we have on this earth. For the last 18 months most people have pretty much been zombies, the walking dead with face masks. It’s time to live again because you might not be here tomorrow.
Industry figure James Bartholet spoke about Dakota Skye to AVN
“Dakota was a dear friend and part of our industry family, and we are saddened by her loss,” Bartholet said. “She still had so much more to give to the world and to the industry, and I’m just very saddened and at a loss for words. We wish all the best to her family, and we hope people respect their privacy and please remember her in a good way. Remember her for all the joy and pleasure she brought us.”
Dakota Skye started in the porn industry in 2013 and remained active until last year. She accumulated over 300 credits to her name. May God’s graces comfort her family in their time of sorrow. She will never know pain or suffering again because the Almighty now holds her soul.
